Visiting the Zoo... Fun and Educational!
Whether you're young in years, or young at heart, Henry Vilas Zoo has fun-filled exhibits, classes, adventures, and rides to satisfy your playful side. There's something for the child in everyone!
After you've visited the animals, there's still more to do at the zoo! The Tree House and Adventure Play Area in the Children's Zoo will have the kids actively exploring all the neat places to climb, crawl, swing and jump. You can also take an exciting ride through the Children's Zoo on the zoo train, or check out the Conservation Carousel, where you can't ride a horse, but you can ride an okapi!
You can also have an unforgettable experience at the zoo by checking out one of the Education Programs at the Zoo. Sign up for a Zoo School class, schedule an educational presentation for your group (featuring live animals!) or get more information about bringing a school group here for a field trip.
And if you can't make it to the zoo in person right now, check out some of the fun online games below.
