9:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. daily, all year-round
BUILDING HOURS
10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Conservation Carousel, Zoo Train & playground are now all open for the season. As you are planning your visit to Henry Vilas Zoo, please note that the train does close in the case of rain. The train and playground do not operate in the case of extreme heat conditions.
EXCEPTIONS!
The Zoo is closed afternoons on these days:
- Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve and Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve and New Year's Day
- Martin Luther King Day
